About The Guide...

Owner and Guide, Rodney Perreira Jr. was born and raised on the Island of Maui.  He has been hunting with his family since childhood.  Hunting is not only a sport, but is a way of life for Rodney.  He has hunted around the United States taking many record book animals.

Rodney has had the wonderful opportunity of experiencing great guided hunting operations.  He has taken a little of each experience, mixed them with his passion to share hunting on Maui and has created Maui Hunting Safari.

Studying the patterns of the animals, including their habitats, feeding and mating patterns have made Rodney a very knowledgeable and comprehensive guide.  An avid hunter for years, Rodney is able to recognize trophy animals from a distance and has the ability to stalk & sneak even bow hunters to within bow range.

Maui Hunting Safari strives to balance nature by not only removing from the wild, but also giving back to the wild through conservation efforts.  By creating this balance, Maui Hunting Safari will be able to continue taking trophy animals for years to come.  The goals are to provide Professional and Exceptional Service, Safety at all times, the best hunting opportunities of taking quality "free-ranging" animals to create an Unforgettable Maui Hunting Memory

Maui Hunting Safari is an authorized agent of the State of Hawaii and can issue Hawaii State Hunting Licenses.

By choosing Maui Hunting Safari, know that you will experience Hunting in Hawaii at its best and that every effort is made to make your Maui Hunting Safari a SUCCESS!

Hunting Options...

Hunters may choose to hunt "Hawaiian" Feral Goat and Axis Deer using a rifle, muzzleloader or bow and arrow (archery).

Our guided "Polynesian" wild pig hunts are done with the use of trained dogs whom track and trap the Wild Pig.  Hunters are encouraged to use the "Hawaiian Style" method - using a knife.

For hunters on a "Hawaiian" goat hunt or Axis Deer hunt who spot a "Polynesian" pig that they just can't leave without, they then have the option of taking the pig using their hunting method of rifle, muzzleloader or archery.  The trophy fee for the pig applies.

Either way, its an experience not soon forgotten.

A professional Hunting Guide will accompany all hunters for the duration of the hunt.

Combination hunts, group rates for groups of three or more hunters and/or customized hunting packages are also available upon request.  Youth hunters (ages 10 - 17) are offered discounts when hunting with a hunting adult parent/guardian.
